Not knowing where to go isn't much of a problem in İliç — there simply aren't enough options to get stuck on. A valley along the Fırat River, streets squeezed between mountains, and the sound of running water are about all you get. Afternoon coffee, a few steps along the riverbank, maybe just sitting and watching — any of it works. Here the dice isn't for show; throw it and go.
